its simple….if you have dental anxiety, rest easy, I am talking 100% stress free and anxiety free! Dr. T and his staff make the experience actually enjoyable! Plus don’t laugh, the heated toilet is wonderful! Try them, I went 36 years without going to the dentist, I am completely compliant with my appointments now! I have high level anxiety and PTSD. I have endured "hurry up and get out the chair give me all your money", while being left with decades long pain in my teeth. ALL BEFORE COMING HERE😲 🎉Upon entry atmosphere was calm, pleasant attitudes and conversations from all that encountered me. Dr. T made me feel like I was that trusting little girl that everything was in my control. He spoke with clarity, compassion, sympathy, and empathy. (He even shed some tears - literally!) I am extremely sensitive to touch of metal instruments, cold, as well as air in my upper molar area. He took my cues and worked with my limitations. I will only be going here bc they have the best, I feel and only care / treatment that I can and am willing to tolerate.

After insertion of the supporting dental apparatus in preparation for putting in a crown on my right rear molar, I experienced a panic attack because I was unable to breathe through my mouth (as I usually do). I couldn’t adequately breathe through my nose and felt like I was choking. Dr. T and Rachel recognized my distress and immediately removed the dental apparatus. We then discussed my issue, and Dr. T recommended trying to provide oxygen through my nasal passages via a cannula which worked great and we were able to get through the procedure without any further issues. Absolutely top notch service and professionalism along with complete patient support and care!!

An experienced dentist with a very knowledgeable, friendly and supportive staff. State of the art equipment takes full advantage of the advances of modern dentistry. Willing to go the extra mile with anything you might need, whether it is a blanket in case you are cold or a headphones and televised entertainment to make things more pleasant and comfortable. I have been very pleased with Dr. Tzendzalian and his team!

Dr. T and his staff are very caring. they take time to teach and explain the plan and what they are doing. He is very knowledgeable and uses the latest equipment which makes dental work less painful and provides quick diagnosis. I have had temporary 3D printed crowns to use while the permanent one was being made. They listen to your concerns and help reduce your stress. I highly recommend Dr T as I’m one who had lots of negative dental experiences during my youth. Thank you Dr T!

I think that Dr. T. and his group are wonderful. Yes, he is a perfectionist. Yes, repairing your teeth and smile will take time, and probably a lot of it. But your teeth will see no better care anywhere. I don’t find his prices particularly high compared with other specialists out there. Dentistry, most especially anything cosmetic, is costly. He does build in natural pause places in order for the patient to recover and regroup, and that is a nice thing. Never do I feel pressure to “hurry up” and get something done. It is all very measured and considerate in that office. The staff is fantastic, his resources are current, and he will make certain you feel no pain if that’s a concern. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Just know that this is a process, that building a healthy and beautiful smile will likely take months and months. If you’re in for a quick filling or cleaning, great. But if you need extensive work done, just be patient, and know that all the time you put into this is well worth it!

As always Dr T is a perfectionist with his work. I had lost an old crown from a previous dentist. Part of the tooth had broken off and a lot was required to save the tooth as a base for the crown. Everything was done to save the foundation and then replace with a perfect new crown. It is comforting to know I have such great dentist.

Dr T and his staff were so sweet. Walking in you feel like family with them. They care about their patients and that is not as common anymore with a lot of business in the health profession. Dr T is very professionally and very kind. They are willing to work with you on any budget. I Would always recommend them to anyone and everyone.

I knew Dr. Tzendzalian before he entered Dental School at UNC. He was always at the top of his class and still is today. His office is equipped with the latest dental equipment and he and his staff know how to use it. You will find caring and professional dental care to be a "first concern." It has been almost two years now since Dr. T. and team did my whole mouth restoration and I could not be more happy with the results. Dr. T. is a master technician, perfectionist and a deeply caring professional, which is the exact combination I was looking for. He, Kristin and the entire staff are simply the best. I was quite nervous and unaware of what to expect. Everyone in the office from the time I stepped foot in the door to the moment I left made me feel so comfortable. Dr. T is intelligent, skilled, kind, and passionate about teeth. As a third generation dentist, he cares so much about teeth AND his clients. He is always up on the latest technology which makes your visit smoother. He and his wife Kristen have a wonderful working relationship that is inviting. Kristen is the office manager and she knows her stuff! I started seeing Dr. T around 2014 after another dentist had been doing a very poor job keeping my mouth healthy. His practice changed my dental care completely. I got a full mouth of work done and left every time feeling uplifted. He’s like a motivational speaker, dentist, and minister all in one. Since I’ve been visiting this practice, my teeth and gums have done a full 180 from where I started and I was someone who had 6 month cleanings for as long as I can remember. I’ve since moved to both Massachusetts and California and I still keep him as my dentist. He’s that good. Go to Dr. T if you want your teeth to last you a lifetime.

The Drs. Tzendzalian came highly recommended to me by other patients of theirs. At my first visit, I was skeptical of the extensive recommendations for my future dental care. After all, I had had six decades of cleanings, periodontal treatments, x-rays, fillings, extractions, bridges---how could I need extensive care now? I felt it was overkill. Now two years later with a whole new perspective on my dental health, I appreciate the care and concern of the Drs. T. This practice uses the highest, most up-to-date technology that I have experienced. They both spend all the time it takes to explain how and why I need procedures. I have not had this kind of care. Now in my geriatric years, I am getting a new lease on my dental life. Thank you, Drs. T. and your faithful assistant for caring for me.

I recently completed a whole mouth reconstruction by Dr. T. and Kristin and it’s hard to put into words just how impressed I am with the results. I should have done this 10 years ago! Shame on me for not publishing this review much earlier! As a very senior Senior Citizen, I have had much experience with Dentists. Unfortunately, my first experience as a little 5 year old girl was horrific and provided me with a lifetime of fear and anxiety about dental care. Dr. T and his staff guarded my confidentiality as I shared with them my terrifying experience and afforded me professional, kind, state of the art care, and fabulous outcomes! We love them, they were a Godsent for us. We have been coming in for years. They always take care of our whole family. Everyone is very welcoming and very professional. I am a little over a year out from receiving veneers. There was some early skepticism. However, it was relieved by the impeccable customer service - efforts made to get things right, commitment to the process, and attention to detail shown by Dr. Peter & Kristin Tzendzalin. It is a decision that I have no regrets making.

Love Dr. T, Kristen, and the Aesthetic Oral Health team! Here's my story. My wife was a patient of Dr. T before we married and she thought highly of him and his work. BUT...based on what she told me, I thought he was a bit overboard on services and price. I reluctantly went for a visit and my first cleaning with him. I left with a fresh mouth and sparkling smile and a 5 year dental plan to deal with old fillings and the underlying decay. That was scary. And expensive. My initial thoughts were confirmed... After a few more appointments, I came to fully realize that Dr. T is not only a great human being but a fantastic dentist. He cares more about my teeth and oral health than I do and he is not afraid to let you know what it will take to make the most of what god gave us. We've completed the plan, my old silver/amalgam fillings are gone, all issues have been resolved, and I have a perfect looking set of chompers to show for it. He was committed to making sure my teeth would last another 40 years and maintained as much of my original enamel as possible to ensure the best integrity. His office is high tech - he took 3D videos of my teeth (or what was left of them after clean up), milled onlays in the next room while I watched movies, and I left with perfect new teeth after every appointment. No waiting, no temporaries, no BS. I would happily do it all over again. And I am thankful for the friendship we have built over the years.

Just to get work done by Dr. T, drove 9 hours from Nashville, TN because it was my first cavity in 5 years after extensive work with him in 2013. Dr.T went the extra mile to work with my schedule and is the only dentist I trust since I’ve had no problems after his work from 2013 and work from others he had to redo and fix. He is the only dentist you’ll see that takes more than enough time whereas other dentists tend to rush. All the dental tech is top notch!

Dr T and his staff are beyond incredible. They give undivided attention to each patient and truly care for each individual on a personal level. Dr. T recognized early on that I had been looked over by other dentists in the past and diagnosed me with having root resorption. He worked with me financially to find the most affordable option to take care of my many needs. I highly recommend Aesthetic Oral Health for all your dental needs.

I’ve been so impressed with their ability to keep up with and employ the latest technology. When it comes to dental care, pain has always been a major concern for me. With each visit, I have become less and less anxious. While talking to a young lady, I had never met before, in a nail salon in Raleigh I asked, do you know a reputable dentist in Durham? She responded, yes, Dr. Peter Tzendzalian. I asked, why him. She explained she was a dental hygienist who travels from office to office and she found him to be honest. She expounded further by saying, he does the work that is needed and not work that’s not needed. I asked her how do you spell his name and do you have his number? I called, made an appointment and found the most caring, understanding dentist I have ever met. Dr. T. and his wife Chris make the best team ever. By the way, he has all of the most updated dental equipment and movies that you can watch if you are having a lengthy procedure. Dr. T. and Chris will make your day free of worries because their caring and kindness is genuine.

Dr. T has been our dentist since we moved here in Durham 10 years ago. The staff are very friendly and professional. They always made you feel very welcome. It is so easy to get an appointment because they will try their best to accommodate your availability. The office is spotlessly clean and well organized. Kristin is always ready to answer all your questions about the procedure, bill or insurance issues.

I can't express how much Dr. T and team have changed my dental health! I don't think I can trust anyone else with my smile, honestly! His office is so welcoming and comfortable. Dr. T is beyond amazing! he is the most honest and god fearing man i have ever encountered!
